| This game was played on October 2, 2009 at Madison City Schools Stadium in front of a huge homecoming crowd. The score was Homewood 31 and Bob Jones 20 with 1:45 left to play in the game. Bob Jones scored a touchdown and two-point conversion with 47 seconds left then recovered an onside kick. They marched down the field and score again when Collins Moore caught a Zack Freeman pass with less than 30 seconds left. Homewood ran a couple of plays then with about 15 seconds left ran the hook and ladder and got down to the Bob Jones 12 yard line with 4 seconds left. They scored with no time left on a low pass in the end zone to earn the win. |
